Linus once again featured prominently in a tense scrap over pole position in qualifying for the concluding Indy Lights race of the weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, taking a close second on the grid.
The 30-minute session boiled down to effectively a three-way fight for the bonus point on offer, with Linus joining Global Racing Group with HMD Motorsports team-mate David Malukas and Juncos Racing’s Toby Sowery in the pole dispute.
Malukas eventually came out on top, a mere 0.09s ahead of Linus, who in turn fended off Sowery by just a single one-hundredth of a second.
That means Malukas and Linus will form a GRG/HMD front row lock-out in Race 2, which takes place at 🇺🇸12:45 pm / 🇸🇪18.45 this afternoon.
